NASA has selected Chugach Intelligence Solutions LLC to provide comprehensive operations, maintenance, and repair services for the Ames Research Center located in Silicon Valley, California. This contract aims to ensure the continuity of the center's critical infrastructure.
The Ames Facility Support Services II contract guarantees the proper preservation and full operational readiness of the center's historic and specialized facilities, enabling support for the agency's missions and partners at the NASA Research Park.
This hybrid contract has a five-year performance period consisting of a 12-month base period and four 12-month option periods, with an additional possibility of a six-month extension. The maximum potential value of the contract, including all options and the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) ceiling, is approximately $158 million.
The contract performance period is expected to begin on Thursday, August 13. The agreement includes cost-plus-award-fee, fixed-price transition, and indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity task orders, providing flexibility to meet both routine and emergency facility needs.
